Casamigos began as a private batch two friends had made for their own house in Mexico, long before it became a bottle anyone could buy. The anejo is the most indulgent thing in the line, and this smaller size is a low risk way to find out what the fuss is about.
Rich and dessert leaning, with caramel, toasted oak and a soft vanilla sweetness that lingers. Drink it neat in a small glass after dinner, where it sits comfortably in the space a good aged rum would occupy. Not a bottle for margaritas, and it would be a waste to try.
