Product Description
Paso Robles gets hot in the afternoon and cools hard at night, which is why Zinfandel thrives there. Castoro Cellars has farmed the region for decades, and Zinfusion is their generous, sun-fed take on it, a Reserve bottling from 2019 with all the ripeness the Central Coast is known for.
The wine is plush and brambly, with blackberry jam, black pepper and a sweet vanilla-oak edge, finishing warm and round. Pair it with ribs, pulled pork, chili, or anything that has seen smoke. Serve slightly below room temperature so the fruit stays lifted rather than heavy.
