Tequila Cazadores has been distilling in the highlands of Jalisco since 1922, and the anejo is where its house character settles down. Highland agave, oak aging and a long-running family recipe make it one of the most reliably good aged tequilas at its price.
Barrel time brings caramel, vanilla and roasted agave forward, with a hint of dried fruit and a smooth, warming finish that carries no sharp edges. Pour it neat, over one large cube, or into an old fashioned where the oak does real work. An everyday sipper that punches above its shelf position.
