This is the top of the Cazadores range, an extra anejo that spends years in oak before bottling. Where the blanco is bright and the reposado is balanced, this one is built entirely around patience, and the color alone signals what the wait produced.
Dark and mellow in the glass: caramel, dried cherry, cocoa and toasted oak wrapped around a soft agave core, finishing long and warm without heat. Pour a small measure neat and leave the mixers alone. Good for a nightcap, a celebration, or introducing a whiskey drinker to what aged agave can do.
