Product Description
Cenote is made in the Jalisco highlands from mature blue agave, using water drawn from the limestone aquifer that gives the brand its name. The Anejo is the patient member of the family, resting in oak long enough to turn amber and settle into something considerably richer than where it started.
Caramel, toasted vanilla, dried apricot and cooked agave lead into a warm, spiced finish. It is a sipping tequila first, best served neat at room temperature, though it makes a superb old fashioned if you are inclined. A fair-priced entry into aged agave for someone building a shelf.
