Product Description
Tavel was making serious rose long before the category became fashionable, and it remains the only appellation in France dedicated exclusively to it. These are not pale, timid wines: Tavel is deep in color, full in body, and treated as a red wine drinker's rose.
Expect strawberry, red cherry, blood orange and a dry, faintly peppery finish with real weight behind it. Serve it cool but not frozen, with grilled meat, paella, charcuterie, or spicy food that would defeat a lighter pink. Rose that belongs at the dinner table rather than only by the pool.
