Product Description
Les Trois Croix sits in Fronsac, a small right-bank appellation with limestone slopes that once rivaled Saint-Emilion in reputation. The estate is run by the Leveque family, and 2016 gave Bordeaux one of its best vintages in years.
Merlot dominates the blend, producing a wine of dark plum, black cherry, cocoa and a fresh mineral lift, with tannins that are ripe and well integrated. Decant briefly and serve with roast beef, duck, or mushrooms. Right-bank Bordeaux with real class and none of the right-bank pricing.
