Product Description
Chateau Siran has been in the same family since 1859, farming in the Margaux appellation. Its second wine draws on the same vineyards and the same winemaking as the grand vin, released earlier and priced for drinking rather than for waiting.
Margaux perfume comes through clearly: violet, blackcurrant, cedar and a gentle spice, carried on tannins that are silky rather than firm. Serve it with lamb, roast duck, or a beef tenderloin. An elegant introduction to the appellation from a producer with a long and consistent track record.
