Product Description
Saint-Estephe is the northernmost of the great Medoc communes, known for reds that are firmer, cooler and more structured than their neighbors to the south. Chateau Serilhan farms there, making wine in that classic, unhurried Saint-Estephe mold.
Cabernet Sauvignon leads, bringing blackcurrant, cedar, graphite and a savory, iron-like note, with tannins that are substantial and finely grained. Decant it an hour ahead and serve with rib of beef, lamb, or a hard mountain cheese. It will also keep improving for several years in the cellar.
