Product Description
Ultis was the first blended malt Chivas ever released, a departure from the malt-and-grain formula the house had relied on for well over a century. It draws only on single malts, and reads as a tribute to the blenders themselves rather than to a particular age or cask program. The faceted decanter matches the ambition.
Rich and rounded on the palate, it moves through orchard fruit, honey and toasted nuts toward a soft spiced warmth and a long, creamy close. Pour it neat in a tulip glass and let it sit a minute. Water is optional here, and ice is not really the point.
