Cincoro was founded by five NBA team owners, Michael Jordan among them, with the stated aim of building a tequila that could stand beside serious aged spirits. The anejo is where that ambition reads most clearly: extended time in oak, a heavy hand-finished bottle, and a price that assumes you intend to sip rather than mix.
The result is dense and dessert-leaning, butterscotch, vanilla, toasted almond and dried fruit laid over a cooked agave core, finishing long and silky. Serve neat at room temperature in a tulip glass and give it air. Anything beyond a single large cube does it a disservice.
