Product Description
Brewed in Golden, Colorado since eighteen seventy-three, Banquet is the beer Coors was before Coors Light existed. The stubby bottle and the yellow label have barely changed, and neither has the idea behind it: Rocky Mountain water, high-country barley, and a full-flavoured American lager.
It pours golden with a clean malt sweetness, light hop bitterness and a crisp, dry finish that makes the second one easy. Serve it cold from the bottle. It is a natural with burgers, wings, pizza and barbecue, and a dozen covers most gatherings without much planning.
