Product Description
Two thousand and seventeen was one of the rare years the Douro declared across the board, and vintage Port is only made when a house believes the fruit justifies it. Croft bottles this young and unfiltered, leaving the work of maturation to whoever buys it.
It is concentrated and structured, with black cherry, plum, dark chocolate and floral lift wrapped in firm tannin and generous sweetness. It will drink for decades. Decant it well in advance, serve it in small pours after a meal, and set it against blue cheese or something bitter and dark.
