Product Description
Monopole is one of the oldest white wine names in Spain, made continuously by CVNE in Rioja for over a century. It is a piece of living history that happens to cost very little: a crisp, unoaked white built for the table rather than the cellar, and still sold in much the same spirit it always was. Bottles with this much lineage rarely stay this affordable.
Look for green apple, citrus and a chalky, dry finish with good freshness throughout. Serve it cold and drink it young, alongside grilled fish, olives, almonds, or a plate of cured ham. An excellent everyday white for anyone who likes their wine lean and mineral.
