Cutwater started as a San Diego distillery and then worked out how to put full-strength cocktails in cans, which is why its drinks taste like they came from a bar rather than a soda fountain. The Banana Mudslide is the dessert end of that lineup: creamy, rich and considerably stronger than its flavour lets on.
Banana, chocolate and coffee cream carry a smooth, indulgent body that finishes sweeter than most canned cocktails. Serve it hard-chilled, or over ice, or blended with a scoop of ice cream if the occasion allows. Best for dessert, late evenings and anyone who has ever ordered a mudslide on a beach.
