Product Description
The twelve-pointed stag on a Dalmore label comes from a favour granted to the Mackenzie clan in the thirteenth century, and the distillery has been trading on that particular piece of Highland heritage ever since. Behind the emblem sits a serious whisky-making operation with an unusually deep commitment to sherry casks, and the fifteen is where that commitment becomes obvious.
Layered and generous, with orange marmalade, dried fruit, cinnamon, dark chocolate and a rich sherried sweetness on a long finish. Serve it neat in a tulip glass at room temperature. It is a natural after-dinner whisky, and a reliable choice with dark chocolate or a cigar.
