Product Description
Rose is where a producer fruit quality shows with nowhere to hide, and DAOU makes its version from the same high-elevation Paso Robles vineyards that built the estate reputation for Cabernet. It is a serious, dry rose rather than a summer afterthought, and it tends to sell out each spring.
Pale salmon in the glass, with strawberry, white peach and citrus zest over a crisp, mineral, properly dry finish. Serve it cold, in a decent-sized glass, with grilled shrimp, salmon, a composed salad or a cheese board. For drinkers who want rose that can hold a conversation with the food.
