Product Description
Hermitage is one of the great addresses of French wine, a steep granite hill above the Rhone where Syrah reaches a seriousness it achieves almost nowhere else. Les Tourettes is the Delas expression of that hill, and it carries the weight the appellation demands.
Dense and savory, it delivers black fruit, cracked pepper, smoked meat and violets over tannins built for the long haul. Give it a full hour in a decanter, or better, several more years in a cool cupboard. Roast lamb, venison or anything cooked over embers will meet it properly.
