Product Description
DeLeon builds its blanco for the glass rather than the shaker. The presentation is deliberately luxurious, closer to a Cognac house than a tequila brand, and the spirit inside is polished to match. At 375 ml it is a sensible entry point into a line that is not inexpensive at full size.
Clean and soft, with sweet cooked agave, a little citrus oil and a pepper note that fades quickly. It is smooth enough to drink neat and refined enough that mixing it feels almost wasteful. For anyone who wants unaged tequila to taste elegant rather than rustic.
