Product Description
Cognac is a strictly governed thing. Only brandy distilled from grapes grown in a specific stretch of southwest France, twice distilled in copper pot stills and matured in French oak, may carry the name. Delorme VS represents the entry point to that tradition, and an honest one.
Amber and lively, with grape, dried apricot and a light vanilla-oak warmth over a short, clean finish. Neat it is straightforward and pleasant; mixed it is genuinely useful. Try it in a Sidecar, a French 75, or simply lengthened with ginger ale over ice.
