Molise is one of the smallest and least famous wine regions in Italy, which is exactly why bottles from it deliver so much for the money. Di Majo Norante has farmed there for generations, working organically and letting the region speak plainly.
The Sangiovese is bright and food-shaped: sour cherry, dried herbs and a savory, faintly earthy edge, with fresh acidity and light, dusty tannins. Serve it slightly cool.
