Dickel White Corn Whisky

Before Tennessee whisky goes into a barrel it is clear, sweet and full of corn, and George Dickel bottles that spirit rather than hiding it. Distilled at Cascade Hollow and chilled before charcoal mellowing, in the house method that has defined Dickel since the nineteenth century, it is the foundation of everything else the distillery makes.

Unaged, it drinks bright and grain-sweet, with buttered corn, a little green apple and a clean, peppery heat sitting where oak would normally be. Serve it very cold or over a big cube, and use it where a bold, unaged spirit belongs: a whisky mule, a julep, or a Bloody Mary that needs backbone.
