Cream liqueurs tend toward one of two extremes, either too heavy to finish or too thin to matter. The Disaronno version threads between them, folding the house amaretto recipe into fresh cream to make something noticeably lighter than most of the category.
The result tastes like almond and vanilla whipped together, sweet and silky with a gentle caramel finish and none of the cloying weight you might expect. Serve it very cold over ice, or pour it into hot espresso for an instant affogato. Keep it refrigerated once opened.
