Product Description
The Wachau is a narrow stretch of terraced vineyards along the Danube, and Domane Wachau farms some of the best parcels in the valley. Gruner Veltliner is the grape the region is known for, and this is a clear, unfussy introduction to it.
The signature is right there: green apple and citrus, a distinct white pepper note, and a dry, mineral finish with mouthwatering acidity. Serve it well chilled. It is famously good with hard-to-pair vegetables, asparagus and artichokes included, and handles schnitzel, sushi, salads and fresh cheeses with ease.
