Product Description
Austrian Riesling deserves more attention than it gets. Made bone dry rather than off dry, grown on steep terraces above the Danube, it offers all the aromatics of the grape without the sweetness that puts some drinkers off.
The 2020 is precise and bright: lime, white peach and stone fruit over a wet-stone minerality, with racing acidity and a long, clean, dry finish. Serve it thoroughly chilled in a tall glass. Spicy Thai and Sichuan dishes, grilled trout, pork belly and fresh herbs all work well. Plenty of life still ahead of it.
