Domaine Vocoret et Fils has farmed in Chablis for generations, and the house style is the traditional one: restraint, freshness and an unmistakable stamp of the limestone the region is built on. Nothing here is dressed up.
Expect a taut, dry white with citrus and green apple over a pronounced chalky minerality, finishing long and saline rather than fruity. Oak, where used at all, stays firmly in the background. Serve it cool in a white wine glass, ideally with oysters, sole, a soft goat cheese or a simple roast chicken. Precision over power.
