Product Description
Soave suffered for decades from cheap imitations and has spent the last twenty years earning its reputation back. Properly made from Garganega on the volcanic hills east of Verona, it is one of the most elegant whites in Italy, and Domini Veneti makes a well-cut example.
The wine is light and dry, offering white peach, almond and a citrus lift over a distinctly mineral finish. Nothing is overdone. Serve it cold. A natural partner to risotto, fried seafood, fresh mozzarella and light pasta, and a fine aperitif before the meal begins.
