Cooked agave, bright and unhidden, is the entire point of this bottle. Don Abraham farms its own organic estate in Jalisco and bottles the blanco without additives, so nothing stands between the plant and the glass. An unaged tequila is the most honest expression a distillery can offer, and this one comes through clean, faintly vegetal and properly sweet in the way roasted agave actually is.

Look for citrus peel, white pepper, wet stone and a cooling herbal finish that lasts longer than the price suggests. It is excellent neat in a copita, and it builds a margarita with real backbone rather than one that needs rescuing with sugar. A good first step for anyone curious about additive-free agave spirits.
