Product Description
Between the brightness of a blanco and the depth of an anejo sits the reposado, and Don Julio makes a persuasive case for the middle ground. Eight months in American white oak gives it a pale gold color and a rounded texture while leaving the agave from the Jalisco highlands fully intact.
The nose leans toward honey and vanilla; the palate follows with cooked agave, a touch of oak spice and a clean, warming close. Neat over one large cube is the simplest way to enjoy it. It also builds the most satisfying margarita in the lineup for people who find blanco too sharp.
