Product Description
Named for the year Julio Gonzalez built his first distillery, 1942 became the bottle people reach for when they want the room to notice. The tall, tapered shape is unmistakable, and the tequila inside is an anejo matured at least two and a half years in American white oak. At 1.75 liters it makes a considerable statement.
Rich caramel and vanilla lead, followed by roasted agave, warm spice and a hint of chocolate on a long, smooth finish. Serve neat, at room temperature, in a small glass. It belongs at celebrations, on a bar cart worth showing off, and in the hands of someone who has earned it.
