Product Description
Vintage-dated rum is uncommon, and Don Q is one of the few Puerto Rican houses willing to put a year on the label and stand behind it. The 2007 comes from stock set aside in the Serralles warehouses and left to mature far longer than the everyday range.
The result is layered and gently sweet, with vanilla, baked banana, toffee and a lick of oak tannin on the close. Serve it neat in a tulip glass at room temperature, or over one large cube if the day is warm. A rewarding bottle for anyone building a serious rum shelf.
