Product Description
Anejo is a legal designation with teeth: at least a year in oak barrels of no more than 600 liters. Don Ramon Anejo takes that time, emerging with the color and softened edges that separate an aged tequila from the silver on the shelf beside it.
Amber in the glass, with caramel, vanilla and light wood spice laid over roasted agave, finishing warm and dry. Pour it neat in a small glass or over a single large cube and give it a moment. It also makes a richer, rounder margarita for anyone who finds blanco versions too sharp.
