Each ceramic bottle is finished by hand, and the brand builds its case on unusually mature agave, harvested late so the sugars have fully developed before cooking. The anejo takes that base into oak for a year or more, arriving somewhere between a sipping tequila and a small piece of pottery you happen to be able to drink.
Warm and confident: butterscotch, baked pear, vanilla bean and a dusting of clove over a soft, oak-framed finish. Neat at room temperature is the only way to read it properly, though a single cube on a warm night does no harm. A striking gift for a host who has everything.
