Product Description
Laurene is the wine Domaine Drouhin Oregon makes when it keeps only the barrels that meet a Burgundian standard. The family brought four generations of Burgundy experience to the Dundee Hills, and this bottling is where that lineage is most visible.
Perfumed and layered, it opens on black cherry and raspberry, then moves into forest floor, dried rose and fine French oak spice, all held on tight, silken tannins. Decant it, or lay it down for several more years. Serve with duck, venison, wild mushrooms or a properly aged cheese.
