Product Description
DuMOL works in small lots out of the Russian River Valley, and Wester Reach is its estate-scale Pinot Noir, blended from cool sites across the appellation. The winery has built a following among collectors for a style that stays elegant and savory rather than chasing ripeness.
Red cherry, raspberry and pomegranate lead, with rose petal, forest floor and a fine-grained tannin that keeps the finish long and lifted. Serve it lightly cool, around 58 degrees, in a large bowl glass. It goes beautifully with salmon, duck, mushroom dishes and roast pork. Worth decanting for half an hour.
