D USSE is produced at Chateau de Cognac, a building that has been making brandy since the sixteenth century, and the VSOP is the expression that put it on back bars around the world. Cognac law requires VSOP to spend at least four years in French oak; this one is blended for a bolder, drier style than the category norm. The 1.75 is the size that makes it a house bottle.
