Product Description
Made from a mash of rye and malted barley with no corn at all, this is rye whiskey built the old way and bottled in bond at a flat hundred proof. Everything in the bottle comes from a single distilling season at one Kentucky distillery and is aged at least four years, a legal guarantee of provenance that few whiskeys still bother to earn.
The result is bright and peppery rather than sweet, with mint, clove, dried orange and a dusting of cocoa over a dry, spicy finish. Outstanding neat, and it gives a Sazerac or a Manhattan genuine authority.
