Product Description
Black cherry is the flavor vodka producers reach for most often and get right least often. Effen builds this one on a Dutch wheat vodka base, so the spirit underneath stays soft and clean, and the cherry reads as dark and slightly tart rather than candied. It is a flavored vodka that a bartender will not roll their eyes at.
The nose is ripe stone fruit; the palate follows with dark cherry, a faint almond note and a cool, smooth finish that does not cloy. Serve it very cold, shake it into a sour with lemon and a little simple syrup, or lengthen it with soda and lime.
