Product Description
A couple of months in American oak is not a long rest, but it is enough to change a tequila's temperament. El Jimador uses that window to round off the edges of its Jalisco agave spirit while keeping the fruit and pepper intact, which is why this bottling has become such a common sight behind American bars.
Pale gold, with cooked agave, light vanilla, cooked pear and a warm peppery finish. It makes a margarita with more weight and depth, works beautifully in a paloma, and is smooth enough to sip over ice when the evening turns quieter. Good value and consistently well made.
