Product Description
If a bar can only keep one tequila, a good reposado is the safest choice, and this is a good reposado. El Mayor rests its agave spirit in American oak for a few months, long enough to pick up color and a rounder texture while keeping the plant clearly in the foreground.
Pale gold, with cooked agave, soft vanilla, a touch of caramel and a peppery finish that stays clean. It has enough weight for an old fashioned, enough brightness for a margarita, and enough polish to sip neat when the evening slows down. Versatile, well priced and hard to get tired of.
