Product Description
A half bottle of one of the more respected reposados coming out of the town of Tequila. El Tequileno has been making spirit there since the 1950s, drawing on volcanic spring water and blue Weber agave, and this smaller format is a low-commitment way to see what the fuss is about.
Rested in oak until it turns pale gold, it offers cooked agave, vanilla, a little toasted grain and a soft, warm finish with none of the harshness that plagues cheaper reposados. Sip it neat, pour it over a single rock, or let it lift a margarita well beyond the ordinary.
