Product Description
California Chardonnay does not have to mean butter and oak. Flowers farms the cool coastal reaches of Sonoma, and the wine that results is built on tension rather than weight, which is a harder thing to achieve and a better thing to drink.
Lemon curd, white peach and green apple run over a stony, saline core, with just enough barrel influence to add texture without covering the fruit. The finish is long and bright. Serve it lightly chilled with oysters, crab, halibut, or roast chicken with lemon and herbs.
