Product Description
Tobala is the agave that makes mezcal expensive: a small wild plant that grows in shade at altitude, takes years to mature and yields very little when it finally does. Distillers work with it anyway, because nothing else tastes like it.
Expect a mezcal that is floral and fruity before it is smoky, with tropical fruit, citrus blossom and green herb over gentle woodsmoke and a long mineral finish. Sip it neat at room temperature from a shallow copita, in small measures, with orange slices alongside.
