Product Description
Chilling red wine used to raise eyebrows. It no longer does, and Franzia named this one for the practice before it became fashionable. The blend is built light, soft and low in tannin specifically so that twenty minutes in the fridge improves it rather than shutting it down. In a five litre box, it becomes the summer red that does not require a decision.
Bright red berry fruit, a touch of sweetness and a finish that disappears quickly and cleanly. Serve it genuinely cold, ideally over an ice cube on a hot day. Burgers off the grill, pulled pork and spicy sausage all suit it, and it will not weigh anyone down in August.
