Product Description
G4 is made at El Pandillo, the distillery Felipe Camarena built in Jesus Maria, and it has become one of the most respected names among people who take tequila seriously. Production leans traditional, with brick ovens, a tahona used for part of the crush, and rainwater in the process. The 2023 edition is a dated release rather than a permanent bottling, which is part of its appeal.
Cooked agave leads, joined by vanilla, gentle oak spice and a citrus brightness that survives the time in barrel. The texture is soft and the finish long and clean. Drink it neat at room temperature in a copita, with no ice and nothing added, and let it sit in the glass a few minutes first.
