Product Description
Named for the occasion rather than the vineyard, this is an easy-drinking red poured for the hours in front of a screen. It is not a wine that asks for study or a special glass. It asks to be opened, shared and refilled while something more important is happening on the television.
Expect the familiar house-red register: ripe berry, a little plum and soft tannins that stay out of the way. Serve it lightly cool. It is at home with wings, chili, nachos, pizza and a crowded couch, and it does the job a game-day bottle is actually hired to do.
