Product Description
Maison Gautier has been distilling in the Charente since the middle of the eighteenth century, which places it among the oldest names in Cognac. Its VS is the house in working clothes: eaux-de-vie matured in French oak, blended for consistency, and offered here in a half bottle that suits a small shelf or a first try.
The style is bright and fruit-led, with vine peach, dried apricot and a light vanilla note from the barrel, finishing warm and clean. Drink it neat in a tulip glass, over a single large cube, or as the backbone of a Sidecar or a Cognac and tonic, where its liveliness comes through.
