Green apple, pear and a squeeze of lemon lead into a light-bodied palate with brisk acidity and a short, clean finish. Serve it cold, and do not let it warm in the glass. It is ideal with seafood, risotto, prosciutto and salads, and it is the safest white to open when the menu has not been decided yet.
