Product Description
Geyser Peak has been making wine in Sonoma County since 1880, which puts it among the older continuously producing wineries in California. Its Cabernet Sauvignon is the approachable end of that long experience: a ripe, polished red made for dinner tables rather than auction rooms.
Blackcurrant, dark cherry and a wrap of vanilla oak lead into a medium to full body with rounded tannins and a warm, even finish. Decant it briefly if you have the time, or simply open it half an hour early. It is a natural with grilled steak, lamb, burgers and aged cheddar, and it has the structure to hold its own against a well-charred crust.
