Product Description
Indra is the Girlan single-vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, grown on the slopes of Alto Adige, where cold alpine nights and long sunny days give white wines their tension. The cooperative has farmed this corner of northern Italy for a century, and the mountain style shows in every glass.
This is Sauvignon in its precise, elegant register rather than its exuberant one: elderflower, white peach, grapefruit zest and a flinty mineral thread, with bracing acidity and a long, dry finish. Serve it cold in a proper white wine glass so the aromatics have room. Excellent with asparagus, trout, goat cheese and delicate seafood.
